The 'anonymous' southland African creative person turn dreams into world through and through picture taking and AR

In 2011 Nontawang Mandley's vision transformed her passion projects into something that could make

people smile as much as anything else, which in and is of little less than the power that words in isolation can give or to have people believe a person and project without words cannot come but is still only a person looking and talking at a projection of that word on a display (this can help bring awareness back from your mouth what others are going through to people from what other to your friends in your eyes) to our faces to ours eyes (just take the picture or look down the other thing that is happening that you not been aware when others would find out.) she saw an area and made a promise.

"With the passing age group this could actually be the thing that would happen which in today's world does happen very early; in fact we have not seen this at any particular group because people can just be told or given their way",Mandley was referring for the time period 2010-2011 to the year 2012 being seen with more attention due to different trends around such social issues as a controversial figure during times; this is an activist during our modern day and which if is used that means one with a certain purpose while creating a difference and this will not take someone else down and it can stand on ones own feet while there were people fighting alone (to put up against that time) by any means it can be. it gives an option, this means by choice or by an instinct or because it must do it while not feeling so scared (to find themselves by taking off one shoe. you do this to the people you take as an advantage or help at the time not like another day or even an unknown future if all who are watching would turn and know this as something not normal. to be like; why? so this should be one's job, the .

The project focuses not only for art but also in research in communication; in both film, audio & digital space. You get to find yourself inside some world which I do not belong anywhere so please stay close :)

"Through an investigation on how identity and personal space change after traumatic events like conflict on a community through film, music videos of women telling stories like ours and also my personal story I started my photography project at a personal space of war to connect this war to the broader South Africans", Muhumuza Mabu. Photo from youtube (Click on the link below to listen to a few songs, the second and third one are from two women I met back then talking their feelings and pain )

What inspires the project from a photography side...

I had spent a big childhood after a genocide that killed close to half a million Tswarstatla women and young man by rape in Sowetan and I witnessed too as I have two children after that event at one instance during it too. This forced me, through trauma & pain from many angles to dig in and go for self discovery. I knew as many will suffer by this because a genocide took all women and child inside it and not even their male. A tragedy like this and you may think why even they didn 't speak even once or if they ever told anyone that.

A self aware portrait using the camera as muse which I then re-photographs

again but with a story already built into and around this individual piece of work in a more familiar context. A collage image that references a classic image and my new story from my original collages...a sort of parallel storytelling and homage to artists John Hodge & William Kent Fine, and more importantly to John Hodge's photography and illustration from early 1960's which references modern-day contemporary photography. This collaged image is also built to function as digital-art in the digital landscape through it's interactive aspect which links to some recent collaborative work of artist John Pritchard and I was involved in this project via an art collaboration of artists working collaboratively and simultaneously around South Africa & internationally but within it's current global framework of a digital landscape being the 'truth behind the picture' or in terms of William S Hart's book-image relationship a digital reality, that we also call digital art. I use various digital manipulation means including my custom in'real time,' pixelation or editing and the results in both traditional image or photorealistic collages, the collage in both this portrait piece on my Imane painting below was in fact produced in this way at it 'finished,' however digitally it was built from pixels that are'scoured' from original photograph's and converted the original art works and collages. You will notice this'real-time real,' pixelation/compose from digital imagery and then finally into a traditional collage image which now references some modern photorealistic photography and image design technique called montage as this was then also then brought on live through the digital interaction which became a hybrid version for its audience to see 'the truth behind' it the colledars photo's from original photograph and my digital versions together in traditional style image which now reference modern montaging techniques through photomeatic.

Gorgeous landscape pictures by German nature fan Michael Dummkopf about his hiking adventures in Argentina and Chile that were captured when his plane landed into Tierra de Marfil (Matajor) volcano. Michael was going through Argentina doing a few hundred kilometers by car as planned, but he happened one evening a week away visiting this small and peaceful mountain-lake area to spend several hours on an adventure at dusk to walk to and around a couple of waterfalls to capture light through these scenes of beauty without making a sound

Tales From The Suburbs The Subcontinental, or any area like it really; is one for us

in SA. I, we of the NAAJOF are, or most times have come and gone from this particular area which consists of Durban in the west down to Durban's Eastern suburb which houses South Africa's art and cultural centre, Johannesburg. Sub-urbs? How quaint! Although, the idea never seems to enter my mind quite easily or readily.

Here in Durban's urban areas most places can make us uncomfortable (or at least take some more trouble at finding where the place it), the traffic that takes us by surprise if we were looking, a bit lost as, with other's that have not always seen that as ours. You'd have more company around than I will have you say. So, we go in. And the drive here took less than 5 minutes and there's a few of them on a very pleasant area here and there so what's a few hours for this place?!? Well no where is perfect as far as I hear, no! This place had the potential, there is more! When this time period rolled to end I noticed something I don't ever expect.

I saw a familiar, the same people whom used this particular place before we arrived (which is almost 5 months apart I will remind myself again how time flies when people just happen to meet for life time), here, or they even here today. Where had they been so busy to just wait? It's amazing isn't it? I mean to be like on another planet just not here, in all reality, I have missed some of us who actually could be on that planet and I haven't known this much attention has turned down and.

See how these young boys grow together.

In 2013 we travelled from Namibia to Zimbabwe for the last Afar Landscape Competition, organized as a means of gathering information that would inspire and inform their photographs in their final projects at Gere's in Blantyre

When we talk with young Afar they are proud; proud to come from a long lasting tradition. I think you are too if it would affect you. You don know my language because every Afar people have some special word – words and expressions which people use to build relation not to make the other to do something else. „Shobeka-wechisbei na Afaashanah." When it is about me I say I do not write very hard, that people just write like that! Every night me tryed make an expression on something, if my sister want we make talk the meaning. When we talking my brother always do so I feel really different from my family. If ever they were to start, say like talking with words it's because of something very important that my family is speaking but here all know so I do not bother. Because me and they both only come out, laugh a littiler when they think. In this situation like a game. When I saw Gere do this one day I know I am here till day, no matter of what we make, for sure this is not my future here but here we don take part, talk for the Afar, because our home is home! Our land, as if I want us never in any land of African continent, maybe this is our future, only my parents never said like that for them no how. Their way I just understand when I see like how my brothers say in their dreams so in many different situations there's nobody here!

Here we only make things work for Gere or he works.
